I heard a rumour years ago about 3 Suddell's who were all in the Royal Navy together. They were also all boxes one of them the Royal Navy Champion. On a trip to Australia (1920-1930 ish) they were contacted by the Australian Boxing board, as the soon to take place fight between the Australian champion and the World Champion had been cancelled due to the world champion pulling out. They were asked if the NAvy Champion would like to fight. This they did and the fight went all 12 rounds. It is all documented in a book called 'Fisty Cuffs of years gone by' (or something like that). I cannot find a book with this title or similar titles, nor can I substantiate the story. Anyone else heard this?
